The Play Therapist

Registered Play therapist & DIRECTOR

RACHEL

Hello! I incorporate an integrative and neuro-affirming approach into my play therapy practice. Working closely with families to support the child's emotional wellbeing and overall holistic development.

As a mother of two neurodivergent children, experiencing the overwhelm of navigating the Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) process twice directed my passion into play therapy. The standard of therapeutic support I would want for my children is what I always endeavour to provide my clients.

The approaches that I provide my clients and their families are strength-based, scaffolding the child to increase their self-confidence. Additionally, expanding on their current interests and providing a safe therapeutic environment to foster positive change.

Who do i support?

  • Children aged 1-12 years.
  • Psychosocial education parenting support.
  • Children presenting with developmental delays, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, social challenges, low self-esteem, medical trauma.
  • Neurodivergent families! I currently work with many autistic, ADHD, neurodivergent children and their families.
